Responsibilities

Design, build, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, serving, and AI-agent workflows.
Integrate ERP systems, data warehouses, supply chain applications, flat files, and APIs into unified customer data layers.
Build data platform services, tooling, infrastructure, and reusable patterns for reliable data ingestion, processing, sharing, discovery, and quality management.
Ship agentic AI workflows including RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, and tool-use patterns in partnership with AI-focused Forward Deployed Engineers.
Own data profiling, validation, anomaly detection, lineage, freshness SLAs, pipeline reliability, query performance, and exception rates.
Carry multiple customer engagements, define success in business terms, and own solution outcomes end-to-end.
Apply Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, observability, and automated testing across customer deployments.
Partner with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into durable platform capabilities rather than one-off scripts.
Act as the technical face of the team with customer stakeholders ranging from engineers and architects to VP sponsors.
Guide customer teams through data architecture transitions and mentor them on modern data engineering and agentic data workflows.

3–6 years of professional experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, software engineering, or a technical-founder role.
Hands-on experience building and operating production data pipelines using technologies such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or dbt.
Working knowledge of modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery, including data modeling and performance tuning.
Strong SQL, schema design, large-scale data processing, data governance, RBAC, PII handling, data lineage, and data quality experience.
Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
Experience building LLM-based applications, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, tool-use patterns, and prompt or context engineering.
Familiarity with agentic orchestration, memory, state management, and AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or Claude Code.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, proficiency in at least one backend language with Python strongly preferred, and ability to contribute across a polyglot codebase.
Experience with REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise-system integrations.
Prior customer-facing technical experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or a comparable multi-disciplinary environment is preferred but not required.
Supply chain planning, logistics, operations, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, or Blue Yonder exposure is a plus but not required.
