Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex Information Security Engineering challenges.
- Oversee day-to-day security engineering execution, BAU delivery, and SLA adherence.
- Validate the quality, consistency, and security alignment of project engagements, technical tasks, and documentation.
- Support delivery of the security tooling roadmap and translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes.
- Work with Information Security Architecture to validate robust, scalable enterprise designs.
- Collaborate with Information Security Operations to improve efficiency, quality, and security-control integration.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and decision-making to the engineering team.
- Implement and manage enterprise security platforms and automated security solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience implementing enterprise security platforms and industry-standard IT security capabilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stack.
- Strong hands-on experience managing and securing Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile device environments.
- Deep understanding of email and web gateways, Privileged Account Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Security Information and Event Management, and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge of information security risk management tools, techniques, control standards, and frameworks.
- Experience with recognized information security frameworks and best practices such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Strong knowledge of core IT and networking concepts, information security capabilities, and security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge or experience with firewalls and cloud security solutions is highly advantageous.
- Five years of Information Security experience in a financial services or e-commerce environment is preferred.
- CISSP certification attained or in progress is expected.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, communication, planning, organization, and independent working skills are required.
