Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect major product features leveraging advancements in AI.
- Anticipate system bottlenecks and proactively re-architect components before they affect customers.
- Lead strategically valuable product initiatives while preventing technical debt.
- Build and maintain core AI platform infrastructure for healthcare-provider workflows.
- Establish foundations for long-term platform observability, reliability, and scalability.
- Own major technical initiatives from system design through deployment of written code.
- Maintain high code-quality standards and help develop engineering processes that support high-quality delivery.
- Mentor engineers and provide hands-on technical leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience tackling zero-to-one engineering challenges, scaling production systems to meet SLAs, and navigating distributed-systems architectural trade-offs.
- Proficiency with modern infrastructure stacks including AWS, GCP, Docker, Kafka, and Postgres.
- Ability to work flexibly across the stack to deliver projects.
- Experience mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on and driving quality, execution speed, and successful outcomes as a technical leader or engineering manager.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end execution from concept through impactful results.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments while collaborating across teams.
