Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated testing frameworks for data-driven solutions.
- Perform Playwright and Python-based UI automation using scalable frameworks, Pytest, Page Object Model, fixtures, parameterization, and data-driven testing.
- Automate and validate REST APIs using Python Requests, Pytest, and Postman.
- Conduct SQL-based backend testing, including database validation, complex joins, stored procedures, data reconciliation, and data-integrity checks.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Plan tests, design test cases, manage defects, debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain test reports.
- Test LLM and Generative AI applications, including RAG systems, for prompt validity, response accuracy, hallucination detection, citation verification, and output consistency.
- Collaborate on data pipelines and workflows, perform data analysis and visualization, and troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Use Git-based version control, participate in code reviews, and enforce automation coding standards.
- Support client engagements with technical guidance, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and continue learning about AI and data science.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor's degree and a master's degree.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright automation using Python and scalable Pytest-based frameworks.
- Experience with REST API automation using Python Requests, Pytest, Postman, and related API testing practices.
- Strong SQL proficiency for backend testing, including complex joins, stored procedures, database validation, and data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing, Agile principles, test planning, defect lifecycle management, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience testing LLM/Generative AI and RAG applications.
- Experience with Git-based version control, code reviews, test reporting, and automation coding standards.
- Experience using Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot for automation scripting, debugging, SQL generation, API test creation, and documentation.
