Responsibilities
- Write and refactor automated test scripts for embedded systems, including timing and event-based testing.
- Analyze failed test cases using test reports, script outputs, and traces.
- Develop and configure HIL models and HIL graphical user interfaces.
- Identify new HIL model functions and perform validations.
- Troubleshoot non-operational systems and restore them to normal operation.
- Apply test engineering and test management practices, including severity assessment and risk estimation.
- Use Quality Centre, JAMA, and Excel for test-related work.
Requirements
- Knowledge of general programming, software development, and structured design.
- Experience with GIT or Bitbucket, JIRA or Confluence, XML, VSCode, batch files, Python, and client/server systems.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, Linux controllers, and TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, and middleware communications.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and circuits and perform hardware modifications.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and physics for electromechanical systems, including kinematics, machines, power electronics, and electrical circuits.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
