Responsibilities
- Assess the strength, scalability, and differentiation of target companies’ product and technology platforms during pre-deal due diligence.
- Support portfolio leadership teams in defining and executing product-led value creation plans focused on product innovation and technology modernization.
- Advise private equity investors and portfolio companies on strategic technology, software, data, and AI-related questions across the deal lifecycle.
- Work with investment professionals, CTOs, CPOs, BCG case teams, and industry experts to evaluate technology-driven value creation opportunities.
- Provide technical insight and strategic thinking on deal and commercial implications.
Requirements
- Typically 6–10 years of experience in technology strategy, product management, software engineering, or digital transformation, with a consulting background.
- Experience or familiarity with data and AI/ML technologies and their role in product differentiation and business scalability.
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, customer focus, mental agility, and results orientation.
- Ability to propose innovative ideas, build empathy within the firm, and earn client trust.
- University degree in a STEM-related field or business management; advanced degrees are advantageous.
