Responsibilities
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Access Control Lists, and Playbooks.
- Design and develop custom applications, forms, dashboards, and Service Portal solutions using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Build and optimize workflows and automation with Flow Designer, custom workflow activities, and Service Catalog configurations.
- Implement and support integrations between ServiceNow and external platforms such as SAP, Azure, and Active Directory using REST/SOAP web services, Integration Hub, and JDBC.
- Maintain CMDB integrity and CSDM compliance through Import Sets and Transform Maps.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and documentation while collaborating with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
- Conduct unit testing, support QA and UAT, and manage code migration through Update Sets or CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and implementation experience across multiple modules.
- A degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- An active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credential is mandatory.
- Strong JavaScript proficiency, including Glide Script, plus HTML, CSS, and relevant ServiceNow web technologies.
- Implementation experience with at least one major ServiceNow suite, such as ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or SecOps-SOAR.
- Working knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
- Fluency in both English and Dutch; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications such as CAD or CIS designations are preferred.
- Knowledge of ITSM principles and ITIL best practices is preferred.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, CoPilot, Snowflake, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipeline management, and sprint-based delivery is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
