Responsibilities
- Configure and customise ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Playbooks, and custom applications.
- Develop ServiceNow forms, dashboards, and Service Portal solutions using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Build workflows and automation with Flow Designer, custom workflow activities, and Service Catalog configurations.
- Implement integrations with SAP, Azure, Active Directory, and other external platforms using REST/SOAP web services, Integration Hub, and JDBC.
- Maintain CMDB integrity and CSDM compliance using Import Sets and Transform Maps.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and documentation in collaboration with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
- Conduct unit testing, support QA and UAT, and manage code migration through Update Sets or CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide second- and third-level ServiceNow support for incidents, enhancements, and defects using JavaScript and server-side scripting.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and implementation experience across multiple modules.
- A degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- An active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credential.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including Glide Script, HTML, CSS, and related ServiceNow web technologies.
- Implementation experience in at least one major ServiceNow suite, such as ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or SecOps-SOAR.
- Working knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
- Fluency in English and Dutch; additional European languages are a plus.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist are preferred.
- Knowledge of ITSM principles and ITIL best practices is preferred.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, CoPilot, Snowflake, and Power BI is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipeline management, and sprint-based delivery is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
