Responsibilities
- Define long-term architecture for platform services.
- Lead large cross-organization programs spanning multiple teams.
- Shape architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with leadership to align engineering strategy with business goals.
- Identify and resolve systemic architectural challenges.
- Design enterprise-grade compliance and audit systems.
- Architect high-scale ingestion systems for billions of events.
- Set SLOs for critical systems across the platform.
- Drive initiatives for resilience, data quality, and observability.
- Lead design reviews and technical councils.
- Coach and mentor Senior and Staff Engineers.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated success in driving org-level architecture.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and scalability.
- Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into system architecture.
- Proven ability to influence across teams without authority.
- Strong storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building enterprise-grade compliance systems is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with complex ingestion/streaming infrastructures is preferred.
