Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, optimize, and support scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring needs.
- Develop control-plane software, APIs, and full-stack applications for DNS and Network Products.
- Collaborate across Networking teams to build products and establish API contracts.
- Deploy and operate Linux-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
- Improve tooling, development processes, architecture practices, and product reliability.
- Use and maintain distributed systems, observability tools, containers, and orchestration technologies.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications backed by databases and APIs.
- Experience leading work across multiple teams to establish API contracts.
- Experience deploying and operating Linux (Ubuntu)-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- DNS and networking domain knowledge, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, virtualization, and CI/CD.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience with gRPC, Temporal, and Kafka is a bonus.
