Responsibilities
- Build internal developer platforms, shared services, APIs, and libraries supporting integrations and core platform capabilities.
- Design reliable backend systems for cross-domain business flows and operationally critical use cases.
- Partner with product, security, and engineering teams to scope and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Own quality through testing, observability, safe rollout practices, and production issue investigation.
- Improve developer velocity and reduce operational toil through self-service platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend systems and APIs in production.
- Experience with Go.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Istio service mesh, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, and operational complexity.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple teams or products.
- Strong quality mindset across CI/CD, telemetry, and production ownership.
