Responsibilities
- Build highly available and scalable services, data models, and APIs for offensive cyber products.
- Integrate cyber tools and products into Lattice through custom SDKs and integrations.
- Design distributed software systems that function across degraded, intermittent, and contested networks.
- Build SDKs and integrations for vendors incorporating software into the Lattice Cyber platform.
- Work directly with program teams and customers to support real missions and product deployment.
- Contribute to technical leadership, architecture, design clarity, documentation, maintainability, and the broader Lattice software platform.
- Incorporate AI/LLM-enabled workflow features when they improve analyst or operator effectiveness without compromising reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production software.
- Strong experience with one or more of C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, or modern TypeScript/React application development.
- Ability to debug across logs, networking, interfaces, configuration, and hardware/software boundaries.
- Practical experience with Linux and containerized deployment.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering teams and translate ambiguous requirements into clean software interfaces.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reviews and architecture discussions.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Washington, DC or Orange County, CA metro areas.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- US security clearance eligible.
- Preferred qualifications include offensive or defensive cyber experience, AI/LLM integration exposure, TypeScript and React frontend experience, technical leadership or productization experience, customer-facing engineering experience, constrained or air-gapped deployment experience, and an active US security clearance.
