Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring problems.
- Build next-generation networking products and services with other teams.
- Support existing products and develop solutions to customer and product pain points.
- Improve tooling and processes for shipping robust, mission-critical systems.
- Help establish development and architecture best practices.
- Develop control-plane software, APIs, and end-to-end product capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- Networking stack knowledge or strong willingness to learn networking concepts.
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
- Experience leading cross-team work to define API contracts.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, virtualization, and Continuous Integration and Delivery.
- Bonus experience using gRPC for robust distributed systems.
- Bonus working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience.
