Base Salary
$90k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for GlobalLink applications.
- Build next-generation infrastructure for new initiatives.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across server, network, database, storage, kernel, application, and network layers.
- Support security and compliance management operations.
- Execute change-management tasks across production, UAT, and lower environments.
- Contribute to migration work focused on maintainability, performance, and high availability.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to deliver highly available and resilient systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and perform weekend maintenance.
- Automate operational tasks and troubleshoot Java applications.
Requirements
- 15+ years of total IT experience.
- Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Strong familiarity with Apache and NGINX web servers.
- Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP, UDP, load balancing, NAT, and firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across kernel, application, and network layers.
- Working knowledge of AWS with strong automation experience.
- Experience with middleware and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and IBM WMQ.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and JFrog Artifactory.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience running and troubleshooting Java applications.
