Responsibilities
- Train newcomers and junior employees in functional and technical knowledge.
- Improve existing processes.
- Suggest and provide solutions to improve application performance where applicable.
- Develop software using efficient build practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development.
- Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver technology solutions for financial services projects.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any discipline, preferably Computer Science.
- 7–10 years of IT experience, preferably working with Java/J2EE applications.
- Experience with Core Java, J2EE, JUnit, Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring, Angular, JDBC, and SQL.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, Transact-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning.
- Preferred knowledge of web services, microservices, Maven, Unix scripting, and Agile practices including Kanban and Scrum.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, communication, and results-delivery skills.
