Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build reusable components for user communication on Roblox.
- Launch high-quality real-time communication products/features on mobile and high-end platforms.
- Innovate tools for creators to build tailored social experiences.
- Optimize and scale systems to support communication for a billion users.
- Improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Enforce high-quality standards during feature development.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to push boundaries.
- Take ownership of projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Recruit and mentor future talent for the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a front-end or client apps engineer.
- Experience with large-scale consumer applications in React or other frontend frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with backend engineers on client/server design.
- Experience working with cross-functional partners in Product, Design, and Data Science.
