Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications and systems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Lead pipeline enhancement discussions, mentor the team on scripts and tooling, and drive system performance and stability decisions.
- Contribute to system architecture and design, architect modules, implement functional changes, review code, and enforce engineering standards.
- Assess testing requirements, evaluate tools, and produce functional and technical design specifications.
- Execute complex projects by decomposing undefined tasks, forecasting resources, and adapting strategies.
- Lead projects, provide technical direction, mentor team members, and contribute to process improvements.
- Participate in recruitment, interview candidates, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams through presentations, planning, and open communication.
- Provide technical support while maintaining customer-oriented behaviors.
Requirements
- Significant professional software development experience with mandatory Java expertise.
- Ability to independently handle the entire software development lifecycle.
- Full-stack capability across front-end, back-end, and the broader system architecture.
- PHP or Python experience is preferred.
- Experience with system migration and modernization, particularly moving away from legacy or individual-dependent architectures, is preferred.
- Hands-on Salesforce customization and integration experience is preferred.
- Experience with GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL is preferred.
- Understanding of FX or CFD trading or experience in regulated environments such as compliance or AML is preferred.
- Japanese proficiency for local collaboration and English proficiency for technical communication with global teams are preferred.
- Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted coding tools is preferred.
