Responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, and maintain Java-based software components and back-end systems.
- Design and develop REST services using Spring, Hibernate, and related Java frameworks and libraries.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, peer reviews, releases, and technical issue resolution.
- Write unit tests for reliability and edge cases and support the QA team.
- Create design documentation and work in a scaled Agile environment.
Requirements
- Require 4–5 years of development experience on Java projects.
- Require experience with Spring, Hibernate, Java frameworks or open-source libraries, application servers, REST/SOAP web services, and SOA.
- Require understanding of HTTP, TCP, SFTP, security protocols, SSL, TLS, certificate handling, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Require experience with unit testing and tools including Jira, Git, Maven, TeamCity, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Google Cloud is a plus.
