Responsibilities
- Build, recruit, develop, and lead an exceptional Forward Deployed Engineering team.
- Remain hands-on by designing, prototyping, implementing, and shipping solutions with customers and the team.
- Own technical engagements from idea through architecture, shipping, and iteration.
- Set technical standards through architecture decisions, code reviews, and hands-on engineering.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows, needs, and difficult technical problems.
- Translate customer deployment insights into foundational product and platform improvements.
- Partner with other FDE leads to establish standards, playbooks, and global operating practices.
- Contribute to product strategy, technical decisions, and company culture.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across software engineering, technical architecture, and customer-facing engineering.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams while remaining hands-on.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals across modern frontend and backend development.
- Strong architectural thinking and familiarity with distributed systems.
- Experience owning complex technical engagements end-to-end.
- Exceptional product intuition and ability to work directly with users and senior customer stakeholders.
- Ability to move between coding, architectural decisions, engineering leadership, and customer collaboration.
- Bonus: experience building a team or technical function from zero, working with agentic AI systems or LLMs in production, leading zero-to-one product development, or working in startups, big tech, consulting, or enterprise AI.
