Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own large-scale, multi-team technical initiatives and ensure software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
- Influence architectural decisions and implement complex technical solutions for high-availability software systems.
- Make high-impact technical decisions independently and evaluate system design trade-offs.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, engineering, customer support, and operations teams.
- Mentor engineers and establish technical standards and best practices across the organization.
- Champion quality assurance practices and deliver robust, high-performance software.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Java software development, particularly for product applications.
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating highly scalable systems.
- Proven experience solving complex system design challenges at scale.
- Expertise in API design and RESTful services using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jersey.
- Strong command of object-oriented programming design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in relational database design and development.
- In-depth knowledge of quality testing practices and a record of delivering high-quality software.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Kotlin is preferred, with 2+ years noted as a plus.
- Experience with caching systems, particularly Redis, is preferred.
