Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive software test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, integration, API, automation, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Log, investigate, verify, and report defects while supporting root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with business, technology, QA, development, and stakeholder teams to validate requirements and quality expectations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test-suite expansion, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate test progress, risks, outcomes, and quality issues to global teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, or related technology delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, software development lifecycle, and testing processes, techniques, and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, API, and automation testing.
- Knowledge of test design, estimation, scenario creation, test-case preparation, execution, defect management, verification, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, REST Assured, Karate, AutomatePro, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of Java, Python, or similar programming or scripting technologies.
- Understanding of BDD concepts and practical automation development and execution experience.
- Awareness of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with source-code control tools such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Xray, Zephyr, or ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment with accountability and attention to detail.
- Experience with banking, financial-services, risk, control, compliance, regulatory, or investment-banking applications is valued.
- Exposure to ServiceNow, IRM, control technology platforms, reporting workflows, or enterprise risk systems is valued.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration, automated regression execution, QA process improvement, automation strategy, regression-pack improvement, defect-management improvement, or quality engineering is valued.
- ISTQB, Selenium, Agile, DevOps, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
