Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient Java application solutions.
- Identify, estimate, design, implement, and test technical requirements within an Agile team.
- Understand business needs and provide technical leadership on solutions and technology opportunities.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate and proactively address issues.
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Lead effectively and work independently when given the opportunity.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Java programming language and Java APIs.
- Experience with XML, XSD, and HTML.
- Familiarity with database concepts and MySQL, DB2, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with Shell scripting and Python.
- Familiarity with Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SVN, Perforce, and Git.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Apache Kafka and Core Java skills are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master’s degree in Software Engineering is listed.
- Oracle Certified Java Associate certification is listed.
- Experience with test-driven deployment practices is preferred.
