Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions using Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance improvement.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor engineers across the technical community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 6+ years with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, 3+ years with databases and AWS, and 3+ years with front-end frameworks.
- Preferred experience includes APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, and observability.
- Experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, leading cross-functional initiatives, and enforcing coding standards is preferred.
