Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain big data platforms.
- Implement and optimize infrastructure for big data storage, processing, and computation.
- Participate in architectural design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze and resolve complex system performance, reliability, and stability issues.
- Write technical documentation covering system configurations and operational procedures.
- Update software, enhance existing capabilities, and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience operating big data platforms and familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, and ClickHouse.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Scala, or Python.
- Knowledge of operating system principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Preferred: familiarity with international data protection regulations and compliance strategy execution.
- Preferred: experience deploying and maintaining big data platforms across multiple global locations.
- Strong problem analysis, resolution, teamwork, and communication skills; project management experience is preferred.
