Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Oracle database applications, procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and database APIs.
- Provide technical leadership in database architecture, data modeling, normalization, and solution design.
- Improve database performance through query tuning, index optimization, execution plan analysis, capacity planning, and health monitoring.
- Lead ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions for reporting, analytics, and operational systems.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and resilient database solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Establish database development standards, coding practices, governance controls, secure coding guidelines, and data protection policies.
- Use AI-powered tools and automation to improve development productivity, performance analysis, issue resolution, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate AI, machine learning, and data-driven technologies for intelligent automation, predictive analytics, modernization, and innovation.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale database solutions.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MSSQL, TSQL, and database engineering.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and extensive experience in agile, cross-functional, and continuous delivery teams.
- Ability to lead database architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, and solution design.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and application teams.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, resilience, and technical leadership skills.
