Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust solution architectures.
- Review and guide architectures and solutions proposed by engineering managers, architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
- Define secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures for HEMS and related platforms.
- Design edge-to-cloud integration patterns, data synchronization strategies, and interoperability frameworks.
- Participate in Architecture Council reviews, governance processes, and strategic technology decisions.
- Lead and support the development and approval of Final Cyber Security Reports.
- Collaborate on threat modeling, Picasso reviews, security assessments, compliance initiatives, and privacy-by-design architecture.
- Drive alignment across product, engineering, security, architecture, and data privacy teams.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), edge-to-cloud architecture, IoT ecosystems, and cybersecurity.
- Ability to translate product, business, and technical requirements into scalable and secure architectural solutions.
- Experience providing architectural guidance, reviewing solution and deployment designs, and enforcing architecture standards.
- Ability to lead architecture governance and strategic technical decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate with cybersecurity and data privacy stakeholders on threat modeling, security, compliance, and privacy-by-design.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
