$260k - $313k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own critical AI-based text safety components with emphasis on usability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement robust AI services that ensure text quality across Roblox properties such as avatars and game descriptions.
- Develop frameworks and APIs supporting text-filtering needs for hundreds of Roblox clients.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, policy, and safety teams to deliver scalable data and AI solutions.
- Develop text safety quality metrics and evaluation tooling for ongoing model and system improvement.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies and drive innovation in platform and user safety.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale machine learning systems in production environments.
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Experience designing data and systems infrastructure for scale, correctness, reliability, and measurable product impact.
