Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver a high-performance analytics environment serving thousands of queries daily.
- Design and scale robust data infrastructure for data retrieval and visualization.
- Ensure data systems are reliable, observable, privacy-compliant, and performant.
- Bridge data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure to deliver usable data tools.
- Build intelligent agentic automation to simplify and accelerate analytical workflows.
- Contribute to internal platforms and tools that reduce complexity and improve developer productivity.
- Act as a technical lead, mentor junior engineers, and own projects through their full lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building production-grade, scalable, and reliable data systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, or sufficient equivalent experience.
- Understanding of AWS infrastructure including VPC, endpoints, PrivateLink, Terraform, and Amazon EKS.
- Knowledge of infrastructure networking including Kubernetes ingress, load balancers, and VPC networking.
- Understanding of data infrastructure and Trino/Spark system configuration.
- Strong SQL and distributed engine knowledge.
- Experience with Python and notebook data stacks such as pandas and ibis.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and team productivity orientation.
- Okta experience, on-call and technical troubleshooting experience, white-glove customer support, React or agent/skills experience, IAM knowledge, and Python and TypeScript experience supporting Apache Superset are preferred.
