Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations across all integration types.
- Own the full integration lifecycle from requirements gathering through production support.
- Architect and develop custom applications using Workday Extend.
- Build and maintain Workday Prism Analytics pipelines for data transformation and reporting.
- Identify and build AI-powered automations to reduce manual HR workflows.
- Develop and maintain MCP servers for secure data exposure to AI agents.
- Create Workday reports and calculated fields to support complex business logic.
- Build and support integrations with benefits carriers and PECI integrations.
- Conduct design and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices.
- Document technical designs, data mappings, and integration specifications.
- Manage work items and track progress using Jira; maintain documentation in Confluence.
- Stay current with Workday releases and evaluate new features for adoption.
- Serve as the technical owner for various People Technology systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and manage vendor relationships across platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
- 3+ years of experience with payroll and benefit integrations.
- 2+ years of experience developing custom applications in Workday Extend.
- 2+ years of experience building Workday Prism pipelines.
- Proven experience building AI-powered features in HR workflows.
- Deep proficiency in Workday Studio and complex orchestrations.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Workday Web Services.
- Strong command of Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
