Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain production AI agents from prototype through deployment.
- Explore agent architectures, prompting strategies, tool integrations, and evaluation frameworks with science and engineering teams.
- Build reusable agent skills, tool-use pipelines, benchmarks, and infrastructure that improve the platform’s agents.
- Spend approximately 30% of the time with R&D partners understanding workflows, testing solutions, and incorporating field insights.
- Translate field insights and internal research into product direction and prioritization.
Requirements
- Typically 6+ years of professional software engineering experience and production experience shipping systems that real users depend on.
- Experience building LLM-powered tools or applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, data science, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, science, and product teams and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
