Responsibilities

Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
Maintain, improve, and expand web applications and data pipelines.
Partner with engineering managers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
Review other developers’ pull requests thoroughly and incorporate critical feedback.
Act as a trusted technical decision-maker while balancing short-term and long-term business value.
Build secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
3+ years of experience working with SQL or another database-querying language on large, multi-table datasets.
2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
Experience building full-stack web applications with Python.
Proficiency with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Ember.
Expertise in Python and familiarity with relational database systems.
Experience with API design and development.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data.
Health-tech experience, including Electronic Health Records or clinical data, is preferred.

Remote work in the US.
6+ month contract duration.
