Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks focused primarily on APIs.
- Develop and execute Cypress end-to-end and component test suites for web applications.
- Design, script, and execute load and stress tests to identify bottlenecks and validate system reliability under peak traffic.
- Prioritize complex functional and non-functional test cases for automation.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and resolve defects early.
- Evaluate tools and methodologies to optimize the testing stack and reduce manual testing overhead.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software automation experience testing complex distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of API testing, including REST and GraphQL, HTTP protocols, and tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Cypress automation frameworks for end-to-end and component testing.
- Practical experience with load testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; experience with Java or other modern languages is also relevant.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and QA best practices.
- Strong analytical and English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical quality risks.
