Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, production-grade AI agents.
- Own the agent development lifecycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand challenges and build scalable AI solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Develop agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, new agent architectures, and voice-model integrations.
- Define and improve agent development lifecycle best practices.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to overcome obstacles and ship solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
