Responsibilities
- Act as a consultant on a variety of customers, delivering ad-hoc services tailored around their needs.
- Scope, shape and present technical workshops to drive Algolia’s adoption.
- Advise customers on best technical and industry practices for search implementation and optimization.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure a world-class support experience.
- Work across the organization to confirm solutions or explore other options.
- Partner with Product Teams and Engineering to develop subject matter expertise.
- Develop and present comprehensive case status reports to customers regularly.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks.
- Provide guidance on optimizing the use of their environment.
Requirements
- Functional knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Ruby, or Python.
- Experience with REST API, database management, and web development technologies.
- Experience delivering various technical workshops including training and implementation.
- Strong desire to help people solve problems and explain complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in communicating complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
- Excellence in time management and task prioritization.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
- Fluency in German and English.
