Responsibilities
- Define and implement SRE practices, reliability standards, and DevSecOps principles across applications and platforms.
- Improve system availability, scalability, performance, resilience, and fault tolerance while proactively reducing reliability risks.
- Participate in on-call rotations, production support, incident response, post-incident reviews, and root-cause analysis.
- Design and maintain CI/CD templates with integrated SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning, vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and infrastructure hardening.
- Define and enforce secure infrastructure-as-code practices using automation across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Conduct code reviews and advise on application and infrastructure security architecture.
- Set up observability, monitoring, alerting, and logging for preproduction and production services.
- Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues, identify and remediate code vulnerabilities, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Define the DevSecOps vision, roadmap, and adoption strategy across large, distributed teams.
- Mentor engineers through training, workshops, documentation, and knowledge-sharing programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles, DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD.
- Strong Linux/Unix systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and security scanning platforms.
- Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability management, and tools including SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Black Duck, Trivy, and Aqua.
- Experience with multiple programming and scripting languages and the ability to write secure code.
- Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or OpenShift for orchestration and scaling.
- Awareness of Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and related monitoring and log-management tools.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence and expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong technical ownership, communication, leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
