Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Lead end-to-end DevOps initiatives addressing network operations challenges.
- Plan, estimate, and execute deliverables with cross-functional teams.
- Apply estimation techniques to support project planning and execution.
- Own projects or components and drive outcomes through team collaboration.
- Adopt new technologies and use network-domain expertise to improve solution design and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Administer Linux/Unix systems, preferably Red Hat or CentOS.
- Demonstrate strong Python coding and problem-solving skills.
- Have experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Have hands-on experience with Helm charts and Terraform scripting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Use CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, and GitLab.
- Have experience working in microservices environments and with automation and test-driven development.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Flask, Django, Bottle, RESTful APIs, Ansible, Puppet, VMware, OpenStack, KVM, Proximo, Istio, Amazon EKS, GKE, MongoDB, ELK, Kibana, Grafana, HashiCorp Vault, or Consul.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired.
