Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
- Build scalable systems for processing, integrating, and transforming large datasets.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate on system design, data modeling, and platform improvements.
- Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing, clean code practices, and mentoring less experienced developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial Python development experience.
- Strong experience building backend applications and APIs.
- Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building data-intensive applications or managing large-scale data processing.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean code principles.
- Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems is an advantage.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, is an advantage.
- Comfort working in Linux-based development environments.
