Base Salary
$150k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale progressive and single-page web applications that improve user workflows.
- Develop Python and FastAPI backend services, REST APIs, and ML pipeline services.
- Build features for Rad AI’s growing customer base.
- Write secure, maintainable, high-quality code for a high-scale HIPAA web environment.
- Collaborate with Product Management, ML, Data Science, Customer Success, and other stakeholders on features and defects.
- Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements across the team.
- Improve the codebase and product through code reviews, design collaboration, and stronger engineering practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry engineering experience with single- and multi-tenant environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Python and FastAPI or equivalent modern languages and frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational and document-based databases and other large-scale data storage paradigms.
- Knowledge of modern web architecture and best practices.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Experience working on a distributed team and strong version-control skills using Git.
- Experience diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization problems at large scale.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and workflows while maintaining code quality, reliability, and security.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, Auth0, Amplitude, early-stage startups, HIPAA-compliant environments, FHIR, HL7, and machine learning.
