Base Salary
$130k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration, containerization, and deployment of machine learning models into Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD and continuous training pipelines using Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow, Cloud Build, and related cloud-native technologies.
- Develop and manage frameworks for real-time and batch model inference with strong reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Establish model monitoring, governance, lifecycle management, drift detection, version control, model registry, and rollback processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders, Data Science teams, Data Engineering teams, and global delivery teams to define requirements and deliver MLOps solutions.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor or collaborate with distributed engineering and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing MLOps solutions and deploying machine learning models into production.
- Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform services, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Advanced programming experience with Python and SQL, plus hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
- Preferred experience includes TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, enterprise model monitoring and governance, and mentoring distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
