Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or working with compute technologies or storage.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Experience with distributed systems and debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience shipping mission-critical code with high performance and correctness requirements.
- Preferred: experience debugging the performance of multi-node distributed systems.
- Preferred: domain knowledge of SQL database query processing and query optimization.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000–$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
