Base Salary

$174k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop systems for the continuous operation of TPU AI infrastructure.
  • Design and implement TPU system control planes and health management systems using hardware telemetry.
  • Develop health rules and analytics for detecting ICI, OCS, EMD, Tross, and out-of-band entity failure modes.
  • Build algorithms that correlate failures and suggest actions for repair workflows across TPU clusters and cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain the Diagnoser for specialized TPU health rules.
  • Define Diagnoser requirements, customer benefits, and Critical User Journeys with cross-functional teams.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams on the PodCare and Diagnoser roadmap.
  • Deliver high-quality code and projects while working cross-functionally.
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and integration and regression testing for the health monitoring system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five years of experience working with Go.
  • Three years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • Three years of experience in distributed computing, infrastructure design, and system architecture.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: Five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: Five years of experience with C and C++.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Preferred: Experience developing accessible technologies.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
