Base Salary
$63k - $111k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead technical discussions with product managers, technical leads, developers, and stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and code meeting established coding and coverage standards.
- Support application testing, CI/CD deployment, production releases, monitoring, and troubleshooting across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Create and maintain technical designs and service specifications and guide developers on functional and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure experience, large-scale or distributed application design, cloud-based analytics architecture knowledge, application monitoring and observability experience, and the ability to guide developers and contribute to technical standards.
