Member of Technical Staff - SSD Firmware Development Engineer
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and test firmware for DirectFlash SSD Modules.
- Lead hardware bring-up and integration and develop low-level firmware features for new storage products.
- Investigate and debug complex firmware and hardware issues and create failure-analysis tools and processes.
- Automate internal development workflows, including testing and release-cycle activities.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to build high-performance, resilient storage solutions.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in embedded systems firmware development and hardware-software interactions.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with Python for testing, automation, and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with embedded software or firmware, microcontrollers, and hardware bring-up.
- Ability to debug complex issues and develop effective failure-analysis tools.
