Base Salary
$155k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage ETF primary-market platform technology and infrastructure.
- Architect scalable active ETF investment processes across investment teams.
- Develop and implement algorithms for research, pre-trade analytics, portfolio construction, workflow automation, and investment controls.
- Create prototype and production tools and develop reporting and analytics to measure their impact.
- Collaborate with architecture and technology teams to build common libraries, platform components, and the core Algo Platform.
- Partner with portfolio managers, Product Engineering, Capital Markets, and Aladdin Financial Engineering to integrate capabilities and develop predictive analytics and optimization solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, science, engineering, or computer science.
- Development expertise in Python.
- Deep understanding of active investment research and portfolio-management processes across sectors or asset classes.
- Working knowledge of fixed-income or equity markets and ETFs as investment vehicles.
- Familiarity with index and active funds and fundamental and quantitative investment styles.
- Experience in technical-focused project management and knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin tools.
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, process-management, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
