Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable C++ firmware controlling spacecraft, satellite bus, and reentry capsule operations throughout the mission.
- Own software development from requirements capture and design through testing, integration, verification, validation, and flight operational support.
- Scope projects and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Develop bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
- Build highly reliable and available software systems and ensure system quality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 3 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing and testing real-time embedded hardware and software systems.
- Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of language concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include aerospace safety-critical software experience, Python or Rust experience, and knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and computer networking.

- Salary range is $144,020–$184,026 per year, with stock options and/or long-term cash incentives; compensation figures are excluded from benefits classification.
