Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable flight software controlling spacecraft, satellite bus, and reentry capsule operations throughout the mission.
- Write structured bare-metal, RTOS, or Linux-based embedded processor software in C++.
- Own software design, testing, and integration from requirements capture through flight operational support.
- Scope projects and perform requirements capture and initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Ensure software quality and performance through testing, verification, and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with the team to communicate and solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 3 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of its language concepts.
- Preferred experience building and launching a spacecraft and developing and testing real-time embedded systems.
- Preferred experience with aerospace safety-critical software, CCSDS telemetry and telecommand systems, and F' or cFS.
- Preferred Python or Rust experience, basic analog and digital electronics knowledge, and familiarity with SPI, I2C, CAN, and EtherCAT.
