Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex features and platform components, including task breakdown, estimation, implementation, and release.
- Design modular, extensible, testable systems and API interfaces using standard architectural patterns.
- Build enterprise-grade frontend and backend workflows and collaborate with Product and Design on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Apply AI-assisted development and prompt engineering while reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and logic defects.
- Write defensive logic and integration tests, debug production issues, and participate in root cause analysis to reduce incident recovery time.
- Maintain production component health through durable fixes and operational improvements.
- Document technical knowledge, author RFCs and tickets, and share expertise to improve team engineering capability.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications with the MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
- Practical experience building, deploying, and operating scalable solutions in AWS.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering, including rigorous verification of AI-generated outputs.
- Experience designing clean APIs, refactoring codebases, and applying standard design patterns.
- Strong debugging, unit and integration testing, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution skills.
- Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements, adapt to changing priorities, raise blockers, and collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering peers.
- Preferred experience with IAM, PAM, IGA, Secrets Management, TypeScript, Jest, Playwright, JMeter, CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, monitoring and logging frameworks, and RAG-oriented documentation and prompt templating.
