Responsibilities
- Lead ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design for custom applications, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Own end-to-end delivery, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow and scoped applications according to platform best practices.
- Provide architectural leadership across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, ITBM, APM, PPM, FSM, and other enterprise ServiceNow capabilities.
- Define and enforce platform governance, design standards, scalability, performance, maintainability, security, and operational standards.
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of onshore and offshore development teams.
- Support story refinement, effort estimation, solution proposals, and technical design documentation.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and support demand management, release planning, and platform roadmap discussions.
- Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and reuse.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, including significant experience in an Architect or Lead role.
- Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow scripting, including Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
- Experience with custom applications, scoped application development, Flow Designer, legacy workflows, Service Portal, and UI Builder.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data model, CMDB, ACLs, and security.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with Agile or SAFe delivery models, platform strategy and long-term roadmaps, cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, DevOps pipelines, and global implementations across multiple regions.
