Responsibilities

Define firm-wide standards for agent and MCP development.
Build production reference agent applications for business teams.
Design patterns for connecting agents to internal databases, APIs, and knowledge sources.
Establish AI security and governance requirements for a regulated trading environment.
Partner with Security on data access, audit, and threat-detection controls.
Evaluate infrastructure for agent deployment and observability.
Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience and strong Python skills.
Production experience shipping LLM-powered agent systems rather than demos.
Experience integrating agents with databases, APIs, and internal data sources.
Production experience with MCP and/or tool calling.
Security experience in regulated or sensitive-data environments.
Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
Autonomy and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include proprietary trading, hedge fund, or financial-services experience; firm-wide platform or standards work; multi-model environments such as Claude and GPT; and production agent evaluation and testing.
