Responsibilities
- Design and ship conversational interfaces and AI-driven UX patterns on iOS.
- Architect and build Swift-first production features using modern iOS APIs and concurrency.
- Lead context-aware experiences based on behavior, preferences, and app state while emphasizing performance and privacy.
- Use analytics, experimentation, A/B testing, logging, and validation to improve feature quality.
- Translate complex AI and ML capabilities into simple mobile interactions.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools while maintaining a high-quality, well-tested, and secure codebase.
- Build stateful and real-time features with robust networking, offline support, background processing, and push notifications.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams.
- Iterate on consumer-facing applications using user feedback and product metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience building high-quality iOS applications.
- Strong Swift skills and deep understanding of the iOS SDK.
- Experience with Swift concurrency, async/await, Task, actors, structured concurrency, and modern Grand Central Dispatch usage.
- Production experience with SwiftUI; UIKit and interoperability familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with Combine or other reactive patterns and judgment about when to use them versus async/await.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture, including patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization.
- Experience with JSON, WebSockets, streaming APIs, and robust networking layers with error handling, retries, and offline support.
- Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, and push notifications.
- Curiosity about chat, agents, multimodal UI, and other new interaction models.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot with attention to code quality and security.
- Familiarity with LLM-driven features, including prompt design, LLM API integration, latency management, fallbacks, guardrails, or conversational UX.
- Track record building consumer-facing applications; App Store shipping experience is ideal.
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
