Responsibilities
- Set the strategic direction and lead implementation of the agentic platform’s critical infrastructure.
- Architect and build production-grade agent workflows using durable execution, agent memory, and emerging standards.
- Implement deep agent tracing, cost tracking, and lifecycle observability.
- Deliver agent deployment capabilities covering authentication, discoverability, and resource requirements.
- Architect secure sandboxed environments for agent execution.
- Build evaluation tooling that converts expert trace annotations into reproducible evaluation datasets.
- Implement identity, access, and governance patterns for agents operating in regulated enterprise environments.
- Create a strong developer experience for product teams, Forward Deployed Engineers, and customers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in platform engineering, backend engineering, or SRE.
- Strong proficiency with Python or Go, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Production experience designing agentic architectures involving chains, tools, and memory.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph and PydanticAI and with durable execution patterns.
- Understanding of LLM lifecycle challenges including non-determinism, systematic evaluations, and token-based cost tracking.
- Strong opinions and practical experience regarding durable execution, vector search, prompt management, and agent architecture.
- Ability to design secure sandboxing and permissioning for LLMs that execute code and access data.
